Robert B. Green Jr.

Rob is Chief Investment Strategist at Council Family Office and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder with over 30 years of experience in the investment management industry. His diverse background includes roles in commercial real estate, mutual funds, investment management, trust departments, and hedge funds. Rob has served as an Associate Portfolio Manager, as Vice President and Portfolio Manager, and as a partner in a hedge fund firm.

Rob earned his degree in Economics from San Diego State University in 1992 and has since honed his expertise in investment management. He is deeply committed to his community, serving on numerous nonprofit boards, and is a board member of the Louisiana Music and Heritage Foundation.

Rob splits his time between New Orleans and Incline Village, Nevada. As a business owner and investor himself, Rob relates to the challenges faced by many of his clients. He enjoys snow skiing, sailing, and supporting high school sports as a public address announcer. His deep family roots in California ranching have significantly influenced his career and personal life.
