Rob B. Green, Jr., CFA

Private Wealth Advisor & Council Member

Robert founded Cojo Bay Advisors in 2004, one of Family Council Office’s network firms, after realizing the need for prudent, unbiased financial planning at a reasonable price for individuals and small businesses.

Robert believes that many retail investors are being over charged by the investment industry for advice, planning, and results. His firm’s goal is to work with individual investors and small companies that may not be rich in investable assets today but, with Cojo Bay Advisors help, will be able to meet their financial goals now and into retirement.

Robert has been working within the investment management industry since graduating from college in 1992. During that time, he has worked for a commercial real estate firm, a major mutual fund complex, an investment management firm, a trust department of a bank and a hedge fund.

He began his career as a property analyst with the Bixby Ranch Company of Seal Beach, California. He then moved back to the Bay Area and accepted a position with Franklin Resources, Inc in San Mateo where he was responsible for marketing Franklin’s substantial offering of mutual funds - marketed under the Franklin Templeton Family of Funds to the brokerage community.

He then moved to the investment management firm of Jurika & Voyles, LP where he served as an Associate Portfolio Manager for over four years. He left Jurika & Voyles to accept a position as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager with the Investment Management and Trust Department of The Mechanics Bank of Richmond before becoming a partner in the firm of Morrison & Frazier, LLC in Lafayette.

Robert earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Diego State University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco.
